Details

The Essentials Collection Riley Top is our version of the perfect oversized t-shirt. The style fits loose and boxy with small splits at the side seam. The neckline is rounded and slightly boat-shaped. The sleeve falls around elbow length; wear it down or cuffed back. It’s a simple shape, but very elegant and most certainly what we consider to be an essential ES garment.

Style Tip: Wear it as you would a t-shirt; it's just a bit smarter and doesn't cling or grab in the wrong places. Perfect with denim jeans and wonderful over a sleeveless style dress such as our Danni or Dolly Slips.

Care Instructions
We recommend that you follow these simple guidelines to care for Eva's Sunday linen clothing:

  • Wash the garment with other similar coloured articles
  • We recommend washing light coloured garments strictly with other light colours only
  • Turn your garment inside out to reduce friction on the right side
  • Use a stick or spray stain remover around the neckline or on any marks
  • Use the gentle or hand wash cycle on your washing machine
  • Wash in cold or lukewarm water
  • Use a mild detergent such as a wool mix - do not add a softener
  • Once the wash cycle has finished, give your garment a shake out (removing some creases), reshape it and hang it on a clothes hanger to dry.
  • Dry in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Iron inside out using the linen setting on your iron OR
  • Embrace the wrinkles, and don't iron at all
  • For more intentional wrinkles, we suggest twisting the garment just before wearing it
  • Only wash when necessary - less is better for your clothes and the environment.

My work go to

Since I bought my white Riley top it’s been my favourite work shirt and yes, weekends too. I’m officially known as the Linen lady now by people who love my ES outfits but don’t know my name. Adding the natural beige colour to my wardrobe has been brilliant as it is the perfect mix and match for pants where a white top looks too harsh or I’m colour blocking with my Koi pants.
